It finally kicked off again in August! A new season of the Bundesliga began – and the first three matchdays could hardly have been more emotional!
The long-awaited return of fans to the stadiums, Erling Haaland’s unbelievable last-minute goal in the dramatic 3-2 win against Hoffenheim, Gerrit Holtmann’s memorable solo goal for Bochum, a new record for Bayern München goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, Bayern’s spectacular 3-1 success against Dortmund in the Supercup and the touching farewell to German football legend Gerd Müller – once again we saw how much football can bring people together, whether it’s in moments of sadness or of triumph.
