NORTH STAND STEELWORK COMPLETE! | Everton Stadium update
The final steelwork has been installed in the north stand at Everton Stadium.
The two separate sections were conjoined this week, just 15 weeks since the first 18-tonne super column was installed in the north west quadrant to commence the steelwork phase of the development.
And in the west stand, the final concrete slab has been poured on the ground floor of the emerging super structure.
The first floor is almost in place across the extend of the west stand, with new concrete raker beams beginning to be installed at the southern end of the stand, aided by the arrival of a new crawler crane dedicated to the task.
Concrete terracing units continue to expand in both the north and south stands, with the first intermediate step blocks installed this week in the former.
And with the south stand now fully connected to the south east core, and work progressing well on the ground floor build of the east stand, the bowl shape of Everton Stadium is now becoming clearer.
