Alex Williams MBE is the latest guest on The Official Manchester City podcast.
Alex’s association with the club stretches back over 45 years. Joining in 1978, he became one of the game’s first modern-day black goalkeepers. Forced to hang up the gloves due to a back injury at 25, he was soon an integral force behind the Club’s official charity, City in the Community. Williams reflects on his early years following the Club and the impact that CITC has had on young people in Manchester and beyond.
