The Belgian then turned provider as City sliced through the Cherries with a slick counter-attack that saw Phil Foden fire past Mark Travers to make it 3-0 before half-time.
Bournemouth went into damage limitation mode after the break, but there will still time for a fourth, as Joao Cancelo’s drilled cross was inadvertently turned into his own net by Jefferson Lerma.
