Tunisia v Japan Full Match | 20 June 2026
Tunisia play their second game in Group F against Japan at Monterrey Stadium. Tunisia’s shock group-stage win against France in Qatar in 2022 was only their third victory across six World Cup appearances. This is their third successive appearance at the tournament. Japan made their World Cup debut in 1998 and alternated between getting knocked out in the group stage and reaching the round of 16 in their first six appearances. They broke the cycle four years ago by making the knockout stage for the second time in a row. Brighton’s Kaoru Mitoma and Daizen Maeda of Celtic could play key roles.
