Team news
City come into the game with a fully fit squad and, for the first time since September, they could even have Carlos Tevez to call on.
Tevez is back in training after settling his differences with the club, although he is not expected to feature in the first-team for at least two weeks whilst he builds up his fitness levels.
Micah Richards suffered a knock against Porto in the Europa League match, and Roberto Mancini could opt to rest him with Pablo Zabaleta standing by to come in.
Blackburn come into the match off the back of their win over Queens Park Rangers.
With no new injuries for Rovers, boss Steve Kean would have been tempted to name an unchanged side, but midfielder Jason Lowe is suspended after receiving his 10th booking of the season.
Gael Givet is still suspended, while David Dunn remains sidelined with an ankle problem.
Chris Samba looks unlikely to be involved as he looks set to seal a move to Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala on Friday.
